Background
One of the most frequently used features in DANA is the money transfer feature. However, sometimes users find it difficult to manage their expenses because all their balances are in one place.
To solve this problem, we propose a new feature called partitioning. This feature allows users to divide their balance into sections based on their function or purpose. For example, users can create partitions for shopping, eating, transportation, and savings.
Problem
Many young people struggle with managing finances, despite the availability of digital tools. According to BCA, 39% of the younger generation has strong financial management skills, while 61% are familiar with financial concepts. However, a concerning 34% feel confused and lack understanding in handling their finances effectively.
Goals
Make it easy for users to manage their expenses. With this feature, users can easily see how much money they are spending on each expense category.
Solution
The partition feature allows users to divide their expenses into separate categories, simplifying tracking and management. It also enables users to set budget targets for each category, helping them stay aligned with their financial goals. Additionally, this feature makes it easy to view spending in each category, allowing users to spot areas where they might need to reduce expenses.
